Type 4-How to use DDNS or external IP to connect DVR/NVR remotely?

You can refer to these steps below.

1. Please connect the recorder to router with an ethernet cable

2. Please apply for a DDNS account. Here we take no-lp DDNS as an example. Go to www.no-ip.com to apply for a DDNS account.

Notice: if your network's external IP is static, not dynamic, you don't need to set up DDNS and you can skip step 3 and step 4.

3. Please refer to this picture below to fill in DDNS information into recorder's DDNS setting.

4. Please use a computer to go to the router's page to do port forwarding with recorder's IP, Http Port, TCP port. You can refer to this picture to find the recorder's IP，Http Port and TCP port.

Finally, if DDNS and port forwarding succeed, address like http://luxiachangsha.hopto.org80 can be opened anywhere on any computer.

(Notice: if your network's external IP is static, not dynamic, the remote view address is http://externalIP:http port on the computer)

For phone view, please still use the app Sannce view. But when you add systemt to the APP, please use the DDNS address, not the camera's SN. Finally, when you are outside, the phone can also connect the system to view.
