N98PBM/N98PBN--How to set up AI(human and vehicle)detection recording?

-Preparation:

The NVR needs an internal hard disk drive for recording. Without the hard disk drive, the system can show live viewing, but can’t record or playback.

Please make sure the hard drive has been installed:

If yes, please right-click the mouse on the monitor, then go to the playback>storage>disk management to check the HDD status:

If the Status shows the hard drive list and capacity, it means the hard drive is functional.​

If there is nothing on the storage or the status is abnormal, please follow the link to modify the hard drive first:

Steps:

1.Please right-click the mouse on the monitor, then go to the menu>cameras>smart motion>basic configuration and enable the motion detection function:

• Select the channel you want to set up.

• Set up the Sensitivity

• Tick the human and vehicle options of the smart alarm

2.Then click intelligent alarm parameters>select the channel number>click basic setting to set up the recording area:
The recording area is set on the full screen by default. Please click delet area to clean it first.
Then move the mouse to the screen>left click the mouse to draw>please double left click the mouse to finish:

3.Click schedule to set up the motion detection working hours:

4.Click linkage action to set up the alarm:

For example: If you want to set up the e-mail alert, please tick the send email option.
