Please plug DVR into the router with a network cable if you wanna use a computer or phone to connect the recorder locally or remotely.
When your local monitor shows Connected, it means the DVR is connected to the network:
If it shows Not connected, it means the DVR is not connected to the network.
Please follow the following methods to modify your network.
Methods:
1. Please check the yellow and green lights on the ethernet port of the recorder. One should be blinking which indicates the recorder has connected to the router successfully. If not, please change the ethernet port of the router or another ethernet cable to have a try.
2.Please go to 'Main Menu'--->"Network" and make sure you enable 'DHCP Enable'.
3.Please check whether the IP address of DVR is in the same network segment as the router.
Please check the Primary DNS address of the router and fill in it on Primary DNS.
Then please try to shut down the DVR and restart it again.
4.Please restore your DVR on the system.
Here is a picture for your reference.
5. If possible, please change another router to have a try.
If the problem still persists, please send an email to support@sannce.com for help.
