Type 1-How to make the DVR system record audio?

Step 1. Ensure there is an RCA red audio connector at the back of your recorder.

Step 2. Prepare a microphone and a long audio cable. Plug the audio end of the cable into the audio port of the DVR, and put the microphone close to the camera.

    Note: To ensure the audio-to-video synchronization, the microphone should be placed close to the camera.

Step 3. Go to System -> Encode to enable the Video/Audio function on the monitor.

#2. How to Connect a Speaker to Your Recorder

Step 1. Refer to the picture below to verify whether you need the audio.

Step 2. If you want to hear the recording sound while watching the live stream, please click the speaker icon to turn it on.

Note: 1. The speaker of the DVR is turned off by default, you need to click the icon manually to turn it on.
