Xmeye-How to Set Up 24/7 Recording and Motion Detection Recording?

Applies to: DN41CS/DN81BS/DT61BH/DT81BF/DT31BZ

The DVR needs an internal hard disk drive for recording. Without the hard drive, the system can't record and playback.

Please connect the DVR to the monitor and check the hard drive status first:

1. Please go to Advanced-->HDD Info and check if the HDD status is 'Normal'.

If the Status is Error or the hard drive can't be recognized, please follow this link to fix it:

1. 24/7 Recording setting

1)Please go to Main Menu-->Record Conf:

2)Please select Channel, tick Schedule, tick Regular and set up the Period time.

Note: You can also set up the Period according to your needs. This means the system will record continuously during this period.

2. Motion Detect setting

1) Go to Alarm-->Motion Detection:

Note: If your system supports Human/Face/Vehicle detection, you can click Human/Face/Vehicle detection and set it up.

These steps are the same with Motion Detection's.

2) Please set up the parameters below:

a'Channel': Select the camera channels you want to set up.

b'Enable': Tick this box to enable this function.

c'Region': Click 'Set' to draw the detection region.

Click Region Set to set region, default is all chosen.

You can change the region by right click your mouse, drag the mouse, and draw the area.

Right-click to save and quit. After setting it up, the system will record it when something or someone goes into this detection area.
