Note:
A. Make sure the IP camera supports Onvif protocol. If you connect the camera to the NVR directly, please also make sure that the IP camera is a standard POE camera, not XPOE or sPOE.
B. Make sure the IP address of the Onvif camera and NVR is in the same IP segment
C. The NVR supports H.264 and H.265 cameras. But if you failed to connect with H.265, you can try to switch the ONVIF camera from H.265 to H.264.
Steps:
1. If the camera is a POE camera, please connect the camera to the NVR via the ethernet cable directly. If the camera is not a POE camera, please connect the camera to the same router as the NVR connected via the ethernet cable or the wifi network.
2. Go to the "Video Management" to refresh the device list
3. Click the "Modify" to adjust the camera's parameters: IP address and the admin password, and save the settings:
Please note that the IP address setting is not to accept all the Onvif cameras. If it failed to change the settings, please directly go to the camera web client to change the IP address.
4. When finish the parameter setting, please directly click this camera and "Add One" to get the camera connection. It will take about 20 seconds for the connection. If the camera is added successfully, it will show "Connected Successfully" on the Added Device section:
