1. Please go to "Google Play" or "App Store" on your mobile phone, search for "MIPC", then download it on your phone.
2. Confirm your Wi-Fi status
A. Please check if your wireless router has enabled DHCP and if it is 2.4 GHz network. (The device does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi currently.)
B. Please ensure your smart phone has been connected to the wireless router.
C. Please ensure there is no special character in the Wi-Fi name and password, and the length does not exceed 30 digits.
3. Check the device’s connection status
Please use a standard power cable to connect the device‘s DC port, then the device’s IR LEDs will turn on. When they are off, please wait a moment until you hear a sound of waterdrop, which means the device has booted up successfully.
You can also use your hand to cover the device‘s lens to check if the IR LEDs will turn on.
4. Connect the device (take the iPhone as an example here)
A. Open the APP and click “Sign up”.
B. Input the username and password as prompted, then click “Sign up”.
C. Click the “+” button in the top left corner.
D. Choose “PTZ Cameras”.
E. Scan the QR code on the bottom of the device or enter the device’s ID manually.
F. Input the device’s password (the default is “admin”) and click "Add".
G. There are two network connection methods to add the device. We take the wireless
connection method as an example here. Please choose "Wi-Fi".
H. Follow the prompts as shown in the below picture and click “Next”.
I. As shown in the picture below, please press the RESET button for 1 second and release, then you will hear a voice prompt. Please click “Already heard the voice hint”.
J. Input the Wi-Fi password and click "Next".
K.Now the device is configuring. Please turn on the speaker of your phone and keep it as close to the camera as possible.
Note: If your wireless connection fails, please long press the device’s reset button to reset the device and return to “step I” to reconfigure.
L.Set a new password as prompted, then click "Apply".
M.Now you can start the live preview.
