Please follow the steps below to check the settings of the e-mail alert:
If you want to set up the e-mail alert, please make sure that your device is connected to the internet successfully.
When your local monitor shows Connected, it means the NVR is connected to the network:
If it shows Not connected, it means the NVR is not connected to the network:

Steps:
1. Please go to alarm--intelligent alert--select the channel and tick--click advanced set--select send e-mail:
2. Please enable the alarm and email alerts function.
3. Log in Google account, go to 'Security', then turn on '2-Step Verification'. Click on 'App Password' to create your App Password (16 digits).
4. Search 'app password'.
4. Please set up an email in the NVR setting like the picture below. If the mail test succeeds, it is working.
The SMTP server is smtp.gmail.com
The Port is 465/587
Tick the SSL
The user name is your Gmail account
The password is your App password (16 digits) from Google
The sender is your Gmail account
The receiver can be any email.
If the mail testing succeeds, you will receive an email notification on the Receiver e-mail when something is detected.
